OBJECT  TO BE DESTROYED

Performance | 2018

Object to be Destroyed is a performance which took place at the MIT Media Lab lobby. Three icosahedrons {Platonic solids} made of rubber glass {fragile material} are placed on the floor. The performance takes the form of a play, with people passing the solids to each other and occasionally dropping them.

The goal is to destroy the objects completely and cover the floor of the building with ‘broken’ glass. The project aims to bring noise into the Media Lab as an institutional system and question its modes of knowledge production
